Pinsight 2023: The Year in Review and What Awaits Us
This has been a particularly exciting year for the leadership landscape, and here at Pinsight, we wanted to take a moment to recognize our 2023 contributions. It proved to be a year of growth, as leaders across industries looked to develop their ability to manage hybrid teams, stay abreast of artificial intelligence tools, and grow their softer skills as their top talent becomes increasingly easy to lose. Pinsight’s biggest accomplishments have been in relation to these 2023 trends.
This past year, we provided leaders around the globe with the insight and development they need to grow in diverse team management, develop innovative strategic thinking, and nurture a caring and collaborative style—all while growing our team, expanding our scientific outreach, and receiving recognition for these efforts from some of our most esteemed clients and industry awards.
Leadership Team at Pinsight
We expanded our leadership team and welcomed experienced Jaclyn Menendez, Ph.D. as Chief Industrial/Organizational psychologist at Pinsight. Jaclyn leads the research, development, and launch of new product features to deliver best-in-class experiences in simulation-based leadership, executive assessment, and development. You can watch her quick introduction below.
Feel free to read Jaclyn’s blogs about leadership skills in manufacturing and finance.
Moreover, our CEO Martin Lanik, Ph.D. had the pleasure of speaking at the SIOP annual conference on two panels: Product Development in I/O Psychology: Designing Research to Get to Launch, and All About Perception: How Perceptions of Women Leaders Contribute to the Broken Rung. Additionally, our COO Michelle Brown, EMBA provided her thought leadership to SelectSoftware Reviews on using data for identifying and unlocking leadership potential.
Pinsight Research, Validation and Awards
We released a comprehensive “Business Impact Report“ that details the science of our Executive Assessment Suite. This research revealed a 95% participant satisfaction rate with our assessments and found that, when compared to low-scorers, those who receive high scores on the Pinsight assessment are 4-times more likely to be seen as top performers, 2-times more likely to retain their staff, 4-times more likely to be highly engaged, and 3-times more likely to experience rapid career growth. In recognition of the impact our solutions make on businesses, we were honored to be named as Best Analytics, Measurement, and Business Impact Solution by Lighthouse Research & Advisory for the second year in a row. Pinsight won Brandon Hall Group GOLD Award for excellence in the Talent Management category for the Best Advance in Leadership Simulation Tools. Further, Pinsight was also included on the Watchlist for Assessment & Evaluation companies by Training Industry.
“Some of the most critical people any company can hire are the members of its executive team. Pinsight has developed proven, science-based tools that help employers to measure and predict the performance of leaders prior to hiring them, ensuring more predictable and valuable outcomes for companies and the workforce.“

Innovation in Pinsight Solutions
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Pinsight, and this year we had plenty to show for it. We innovated Pinsight’s Leadership Development Solution by introducing our Leadership Insights process. Leadership Insights starts with a brand-new reporting feature complete with robust data analytics, interactive online dashboards, and a highly personalized interpretative review of participant results. This is coupled with an integrated debrief session for coaching, delivered seamlessly within our platform and allowing participants to schedule their session 24/7. We are pleased to offer these highly requested post-assessment services that are fully automated, user-friendly, and hosted on our secure platform.
While the Leadership Insights process is still new, we are grateful that we’ve received overwhelming positive feedback from clients. We are excited to share these innovative and robust tools with many more organizations in 2024.
Further, Pinsight was proud to complete its SOC 2 examination with the guidance of a third-party audit firm. This globally recognized attestation validates our commitment to critical security standards to protect and secure client data.
Pinsight also continues to add more languages to its assessment experience each year. This year we introduced GERMAN into our long list of languages offered, to support new clients from Western Europe in their leadership endeavors.
Nurtured Customer Satisfaction
We are delighted to share that our Net Promoter Score (NPS) for this year stands at an impressive 79, significantly surpassing the average of 30 for most B2B software solutions. This accomplishment underscores our team’s dedication to providing a seamless, effective, and outstanding service. Our gratitude extends to our dedicated clients and parents whose collaboration has contributed to this success.
“Pinsight’s customer service makes utilizing leadership assessments a piece of cake. Pinsight went above and beyond to help us create customized trainings per teams to understand team capability and opportunities of competency development, firm-wide. Furthermore, Pinsight listened to our competency matrix framework project and supported our specific needs, which played a huge role in the project implementation. Pinsight is our best partnership and our team loves Pinsight!”
Krissie Bailey, Director of Human Capital at MiddleGround Capital
